When you set a goal you are giving yourself heights to reach…
This is useful because if you don’t have anything to reach for you remain idle, and when you are idle you are practically wasting your life. God put everyone here with a purpose, how can you achieve this purpose if you do not set goals and reach them.
If you don’t have a goal how will you know what to aim for or how to improve!
Its like sailing a boat without a rudder
or
driving a car without a steering wheel!
without a goal you have no frame of reference to monitor your progress. a goal gives you direction.
It provides you a direction. Without a goal set, you may work hard, run a 100 miles and achieve lot of milestones but you may not get to where YOU want to. Could be meaningless to you.
So goal setting will let you divert your energies and resources in the right direction so that you achieve what you want with minimum time, effort and money.
It gives you a deadline..it frames your time, its important to have goals and work within them, it organizes your time space
